Ford Focus 1.0 Ecoboost Titanium

In my search for a new car came out on this Ford Focus 1.0 EcoBoost Titanium with optional TECHNOLIGY Pack and LED lighting. Can I have the car to retrieve a day for our holiday in Sweden at our Ford dealership. make nice mileage and learn the car on vacation. Ideal!

Our previous car (Opel Astra ST Cosmo 100hp) began to malfunction and Mileage went to the ton. Time for another car because we had lost confidence in the Opel.

Soon we fell for the facelift of the new Ford Focus. Especially the nose and interior / dashboard therein were decisive.

On the day we picked up the car, we are nicely received by the dealer and was the focus under a canvas ready to be onthuldigd. Home played with automatic parallel parking and posted the blinds (Sonniboy)

The first kilometers were real direction Sweden. Many changed using the speed, turn a lot and cruise control. What I noticed immediately was that this car is faster and has more power. The Opel was really where not to burn. The first "defect" presented itself. A kind of honking sound arose after accelerating from a standstill. I put a link with start / stop and the adjustment thereof. Next week but stopped by the dealership.

a quiet and comfortable car on the long road to cruise. Little wind noise. At hobbellige ways I think the car a bit float. One finds that comfort and others find it irritating because the contact with the road thus what is lost. Personally, I prefer a little more contact with the road. Maybe some tire here helps them.

The navigation system works perfectly. There are many small villages in Sweden. The system could accompany me to go effortlessly every time. The multimedia system, incidentally, also works very well. A small vertragimg sitting there after "touchen" screen. Minuscule minus.

The finish is in good road and is considered some nice touches like mood lighting and dimming instumentverlichting etc. Thick fine. I find the difference between Opel and Ford significantly. Opel is more luxurious than Ford finished. Especially the little things. VIN mat under driver seat, luggage rings some messy wires, closing tailgate, use materials in some places, etc. As I said little things. I have also no experience with this, but I noticed it very much anyway. The kelpje of the tank is tat. loose. I'm with little kids getting a little bit worried about. On holidays, there was a boy who wanted to fill my car just in his water pistol ....

Consumption fell'm really sorry it! Of the total fare. 1500km. 7.2lit / 100km. The subsequent kilometers in Sweden on average 90 km per hour 6.2lit / 100km. Prima score seems like a new car. I'm curious how the consumption will be more economical.

On the way there were at 3500km. Finally, as the real car test in Germany has 4100km on the clock. The car is fast speed. After 180km per hour he climbs slowly up to 205km per hour (on the LCD and speedometer). How hard right ???? The car thereby remains extremely stable and secure feeling. Consumption with still considerably higher speeds 7.4lit / 100km

In short, as far very pleased with the new Ford Focus. After the first service I will provide an update.

On Saturday 1 October 2016, the time had come. go pick up a new car is always exciting. Simultaneously it still feels weird to leave the old behind.

This is my third car in total, and my 2nd car is completely new. No problems with my previous car, the Renault Twingo 2013, but so slowly came to MOT date approaching and with it the chance that went out to several major publications.

So for a while already a little car scour websites looking for a new one. Here, the requirements were that (at least the most important) issues I had in the Twingo would also here; preferably a 5-door (Is not so easy); a somewhat larger vehicle (this means at a transition from A-to-B segment); and a car that I can keep up easier on the highway and can catch the N-roads. I myself also am a fan of the new version of the Twingo. So it was're looking for something else.

The choice fell on a Mazda 2 with the action model GT-M line. Here are almost all the options that I had in the Twingo (Cruise Control, Air conditioning (climate control in Mazda), privacy glass, Car Bluetooth, etc.) and a few extras that (ESP, Light and rain sensor, seat heater), and still falls within budget.

Compared to the alternatives, the second came at the time as very good option for the GT-M line version. Alternatives I've seen include the Opel Corsa and Renault Clio / Captur.

On September 10 found a good trade offer my Twingo, but it brought a new dilemma with it. What color is the new car? My first preference was for the Dynamic Blue variant, but now the dealer himself had the Soul Red face (which I also test drove it, this was still a discussion point for myself. When offered the dealer the difference (the red is € 150 euro expensive) to share, my choice was made to go for red. this was also ordered and it would take several weeks to order and delivery.

On October 1 it was time to get the car really. Initial state mileage: 43km.

So today the first 1000 km on the odometer.

I had the car when I'm given the same day but immediately refilled to see how efficient the car really be going.

Yesterday the second refueling, and the first results are in use. Until now I come to a nice use of 5.49l / 100km (or 1 in 18.2). This is actually suspiciously close to the consumer whatever I drove the Twingo. Nice that not only the theoretical consumption of both cars are the same, but this seems to have known so far in practice so.

This is partly because I think that this car is actually not so heavy compared to the competition. Twingo weighed 839KG, Mazda weighs 950kg but his 111kg more. This also represents the Mazda with 950kg nice sitting on the edge to come out so only one category higher road tax. So nice bonus, especially as often weighs more competition (Opel Corsa: 1041KG, Renault Clio: 1057KG, i20: 1040KG).

Where I still have to get used the sound produced by the engine. At the Twingo you could hear the sound pretty quickly what speed you were driving at that speed, the Mazda hear you actually completely not the same sound. Also on the highway is good to note that the smaller engine in the Twingo still had to clear more speed for the same speed.

The motor still a lot more powerful, to see how fast I am now at the right speed, even without having had the chance / time to switch. This switch makes the Mazda otherwise quite tasty.

What I find crazy is that although the car a bit longer (~ 40cm), knows ready to play a smaller turning radius (9.9m -> 9.4m).

Will just see if I can add a photo of the car. The red color is really beautiful there.

Experiences
After three years with pleasure and little maintenance driven around to have to play in an Opel Astra (F) convertible began ideas, it would be no time for anything else? But again a convertible, which was very liked, but perhaps something more modern? In terms of space, we will not have too much to go back and through my long fall back many convertibles already off beforehand. A search for AutoWeek and other sites yielded a list of possible candidates, including the Peugeot 306 convertible.

In terms of comfort Peugeot has always liked us, but also the appearance of the 306 cabrio us it was on, so over the internet a selection of three possible candidates. was mad enough at us to find anything special in the neighborhood at that time, so we went to Utrecht, where we - among others - came to visit Toyota Dealer Kooijman. After a very pleasant conversation and a good trade for our Astra we did not need much reflection, this one from 2000 with 90,000 km on the clock and almost a new convertible to be him. Comes with major service and six years warranty.

Now, eight months and fun to drive later, we still do not regret the purchase. The car is very comfortable but surprisingly sportier suspension than the Astra. It is also clear to see that it is a modern convertible here; The torsional rigidity is considerably larger, resulting in less squeaks and creaks. The shade is better insulated to outside noises even less coming into the interior. It is told in the rear windows wind.

In motor development is certainly no streaks trigger, but the 1.6 offers sufficient strength and flexibility to be well along in traffic. 50 in the "five" is not a problem as well with 120/130 km / h keeps everyone well understood. The consumption lies with us around the first 13, with the caveat that it is widely used for city rides.

The car comes with a windbreak, this however, we use sporadically. Once installed it works fine, but is not easy to place him; the cover of the convertible top will need to be opened a little, after which the brackets of the wind-catcher may fall into it. At the front harness the wind-catcher in the belt notches. Altogether, this makes belts running less smoothly, there to hear crackling, and - if the hood is closed - is not dismantle the windbreak. Reason for us to use him only. 70-80 km / h, it is moreover to keep out fine without windbreak.

In the winter of last year in mind, we have equipped the 306 in November of winter tires with steel wheels, an investment of € 600, -, but one that has already more than proven his advantage!

issues
Significant problems have not been (thankfully), but the car is within the warranty have been back a few times to the garage. Amongst others worn brakes. We have made no purchase in test drive, you might find that, but this is neatly solved by Kooijman. Also a laborious side window down and went up again, the outlet was a 'sporty' bijgeluid and had built an alarm of its own; it went smoothly without apparent cause off. Although these items are easily and properly dissolved under warranty.

With the first snow of this winter windshield appeared not to function more and freezing temperatures did not help a gasket on the engine block, which resulted in a small amount of oil leakage. These issues have now been repaired.

First impression BMW 216d Gran Tourer Executive Sport

  • 270 km
  • August 15, 2015 21:27

Because of the expiration of the lease at 180k km of my Peugeot 508 1.6 eHDI I need to find an alternative. The choice is limited to the brands Volvo, BMW, Audi, Peugeot, Toyota, Volkswagen and Ford.

In recent years I have driven a Mazda 6, Ford S-Max and 2x Peugeot 508. I also let my "suffering" by the aggregation sample. It is, after all, the last chance to take advantage of even a low addition category. There remain three cars on the shortlist. The Passat 2.0 diesel variant, the Ford Mondeo 2.0 diesel station and after the positive experience with the 7-seater S-Max in the past, the two BMW Gran Tourer. Unfortunately, 20% addition only possible with a three-cylinder 1.5. And I also have to tow a caravan !?

The test runs clarify. The Passat drives just fine with its spacious interior and powerful engine but in the back double with a huge tunnel in the middle. The Mondeo is, despite its good looks, at (looks small on the inside, outdated and limited navigation panel). Remains the BMW. We were only 15km away because there was no demo was available with the three-cylinder engine. It does not disappoint. A couple of times to catch up on a 80km road shows that switching is required (third gear is long and pulls easily from well above 100 and fourth picks it well). I do not believe this is part of the consumption test laboratory but that aside. It definitely is with me. The kids (13 11And seven years) are already out, BMW should be it! A real family car. And he looks inside nice.

Well, and now?

Anyway count again. The Passat is my final 50 to 75 euros more expensive per month than the BMW. This is partly because of the attractive introductory discount offered by the leasing company. But then a concession on capital. Given that my contract expires I quickly choose the showroom model that matches my needs.

It became:

- BMW 216d Grand Tourer (7p)
- Corporate Lease Executive Sport
- Introduction Package (sunroof, premium roofing etc)
- Mediterranean Blue

270 km
After the holiday time has come. The 180k km by Peug achieved. I can pick up the car. After a fine transfer of Martini in Groningen (it's the first episode of a GT) we can make the first kilometers. My first impressions are:

- What a nice interior
- A high seating makes any search is the correct position of the seat
- sensitive control
- Stiff barriers to large but fairly comfortable on rough roads
- Many turn to speed
- quietly at higher speeds (180 km / h A31 Germany)
- Delicious Multi Media Information IVG with Peugeot
- Some disapproving looks from BMW adepts

In short, the first impression is good. But the car will now have to prove in practice. If desired, I will expand the review in the coming months. Let me know when there is a need.

It's started

  • 12500 km
  • November 9, 2015 20:55

2300 km
Will you always see, new car (1300 km), and yes, a child's bicycle with the basket along the fender. It's only paint damage shall we say. It is neatly repaired simultaneously with damage to the right rear bumper I have caused myself. Let's just say it when reversing is a large blind spot. Not seen in the mirrors and over your shoulder when you also ignores the parking sensor ....

The search is still in the sport seats. The numerous settings (high / low / tilt / seat height) in combination with the control that you can get close to you makes me not my ideal is've found.

Other observations:

- Very quiet motor with a gearbox with wide range. It is good to have a shift indicator in the dashboard is because the lack of engine noise I forget to turn it regularly (on).
- relatively large band sound
- accelerating from 120 km in his six takes a while, went to the 508 faster. Perhaps the engine must still loose
- The consumption is around 5.9 liters with great highway mileage of more than 130 km / h
- Navigation excellent, lots of settings
- train springs deep in long uneven (prolapse Emmeloord A6)
- Excellent in long motorway bends
- Very good for a steering wheel actuator
- very good lighting, LED automatic mode
- Gorgeous interior mood lighting
- Use cruise control is used to. I press any button on the CC instead Resume
- Rain sensor does work well here

The appearance is debatable, the fact is that one morning I twice got compliments about the exterior.

12,500 km
What a nice car. Every day I move there with pleasure in part because I have found the ideal is. The band sound seems strangely greatly reduced what makes it even quieter. The LED proves itself on the dark autumn days. The handling like excellent and sometimes invites a sportier feel than you would expect from a family car. The other family members are satisfied with the children regularly to the third row sit in place of the means of spot on the second row.
What was previously the biggest doubt point seems to work fine in practice. The three-cylinder diesel does its job perfectly. It takes getting used to but as long as you switch back in time is in third gear is sufficient capacity to catch up on 60 and 80 km of roads. Higher speeds are thereby no problem because you hear the engine barely. Above 120km / h it goes slower. The result is that consumption is pretty. With an average of 5.89 liters per 100 km I sit well above the standard of 4.1 liters, but that story we know that by now. In a few weeks the winter beneath and to the winter.

Fine car, nothing wrong with that but what a bad navigation. A whiny female voice with unclear instructions. Has sent me several times in the woods. I wanted to know if I had the latest release. The dealer in Almere (Bochrane who had taken over now Brockhoff) left it completely fails and referred me to Nissan Netherlands. Brockhoff Amsterdam immediately delivered a new release for free. It is still struggling with this system and any future releases will cost € 180, -. I thank you for it and have yet again purchased a TomTom.

EXPERIENCES

  • September 25, 2006 00:00

-----

Update 21-11-2006:
I have exchanged the car yesterday for a VW Golf IV 2.3 V5
The Punto has spent the last 2 or 3 weeks that was worn pretty neat to me, so I surely said goodbye with some pain in my heart. But what I now return've really called supertof, I have of course already a long way it drove around last night. The review follows the Gulf if I drove a little more inside.

-----

Introduction:

I went in early 2005 figure my first car. Soon I found the Fiat Punto a very nice car. After a test drive which pleased me, there was a deal pretty quickly. What I liked the car had the looks and the interior I (still) find look fresh and youthful. What it did fit at my age (21 when I bought it)

Driving experience:

The car drives like he's not fast, but you can save up to 100 km / h easily get along with traffic. If it needs more quickly, which is with pleasure towards 120 to 140 on the highway, but do not expect TDI acceleration. With a top speed of 155 according to the book-tie is not so fast. On the counter did you just under 170.
And further, I think the car is still fairly comfortable. It is not a soft suspension Opel Vectra, Rover 416 or VW Golf / Passat, but you can not expect in such a small car. It is certainly not stuiterbak. Over bumpy cobblestone roads such are comfortable enough.

Grip

In the beginning I was not very enthusiastic about the handling. This with the standard tires in size 165/70 r14. But because the small turn had to replace a tire (leak was) I chose to mount around a size 185/60 r14. It runs much better I must say. Unevenness or passed slightly better, but the car is now following exactly the line that I command him. And I think that's so nice. Even in the rain is certainly not grip me against the contingency that I get put under it.

Consumption

One advantage I think the low fuel consumption. I use the car much to drive back and forth to work (8 km) and at such short pieces which do still between 1:15 and 1:16. On average over an entire tank where you larger distances (+/- 40 km one way) drive, you come around to the 1:16 a 1:17. My riding style is taking over occasional youthful and smooth with some nice strikeout, interspersed with relaxed (and economical) driving.

Briefly, the pros and cons of this car:
Benefits:
- Pretty quiet, only wind noise and tire noise
- Super handling. A curve can take really hard and then the tires do not squeal. Indicating that it therefore can still harder. Because I sometimes read in a review that the handling of the Punto is not good, attached a note: With good (A-brand) tires have been tested as well, eg by TUV, Continental ECOCONTACT 3 with width 185 in my case , you have a car that hard pruning can bend through. Many tailgater you lost another time when you just had some nice curves.
- Cheap terms of tax (15 euros per month)
- Economical (I always get something around 1:16 and then I do not really always easy)
- Seats are tight. I can find a comfortable sitting in the seats and a longer trip (+/- 200 km is not tiring.

cons:
- Brake discs wear out quickly
- At certain speeds vibrates the entire car and the dealer could not do anything about.
- He is more than 1 time per year at the dealership. Cozy to drink at the dealership tea or coffee, but it's always expensive tea / coffee. In other words:
- Expensive to maintain
The dealer told me during the sale that such punto 1 time per year to the dealer. One year, a small turn and the next year a major overhaul. This is because I only drive about 12,000 km per year. It is also told that the maintenance costs than about 200 for a small turn and slightly more expensive for the big turn. But that was disappointing. In 1.5 years driving that car has already cost me thick 1300 and has already been 4 times in the garage. (First time would be) now were of course at the cost or four new tires for about 380 euros, but I still think it's expensive. More information about these fees and fewer positives can be found under "problems".

Despite the problems that will be named below is the car I liked it. Only it was the problems that occurred shortly after another lately the reason to him. The car gave me the feeling that it will have to back to the dealer about two months? "When it went off spontaneously for the 2nd time in 3 days waiting for the traffic light and with difficulty went, for me was the straw that made me decide to choose a different car.

PROBLEMS

  • September 25, 2006 00:00

The car has had several problems and some things seem to be not normal to me. For example a coupling which fails. Read and shiver in chronological order:

- condensation in the headlights
From the first time I have the car washed I was condensation in the headlights. On the one hand it was that way, but on the other hand continued to sit. Before I went once or 3 to the garage, which have looked at it and dry gefohned. And during the next wash or heavy rain I condense again. Ultimately, it fortunately resolved. If I remember correctly it is solved by making the lamp unit with waterproof grease. Since then this problem fortunately past.

- rear muffler
The car was just a month from its warranty period of six months, I let winter check at the garage and they say I have to have a new rear shock. I could not drive too long with it, because these could sometimes fall below it away and end up on the road. That gives you no feeling fine. First, because you do not want that thing landed on the road and secondly, certainly not because I have been there along the dealer warranty to say the outlet not sound good. They looked at it and then I was told that I hesitate to even bring an end could drive through.
I let my displeasure about this show because I found that the outlet very soon after buying the car could fall off. And certainly because it was just a few weeks out of warranty. I tried to make a deal, but both pay 50% of the new damper she wanted to know anything about, but free under it though. All right, so done. But that joke cost up to 130 euros, normally fiat damper 90, but I chose a sport muffler. That was 4 bucks extra worthwhile. Simultaneously with the correction of this problem is also the aforementioned problem of condensation is dissolved in the headlights. This was in Dec 2005

- small turn
March 2006, under my administration had its first small turn combination APK. Here has been to four new tires. Furthermore, a new timing belt, because that should be replaced approval requirements after 5 years. And further change the familiar things like oil.
These include turn took four new tires and timing belt 700 euros.

- Clutch pressure group
In August 2006 the car gave me a very funny joke. I wanted to drive off a roundabout, but the feeling in the clutch was completely gone and no walk was longer. I could get away with it. So put car stopped, called garage and I had only just come along. There appeared to be one of the clutch spring was broken, making it impossible to properly engage the clutch.
So then you drive constantly slipping clutch to the dealer. Harder than 50 can not take a train and then pulls even faster, so I was very happy that I do not have about 80 km of roads as I have to the dealer. This joke by the way cost 550 euros. What was really nice was that I from Saturday to Monday a grande punto've had to borrow.

- brakes
While tinkering with the link is shared informs me that to the brakes almost needs replacement. I can still drive a while with the current system, but they should be replaced at the next turn. I'm not sure whether it's only blocks or a complete braking system. But now I have I can therefore no longer answer to no car anymore. Because I have not let you do it. But as I understood there were completely new brakes, so including disks. And after just 40,000 kilometers ???? That really does not appear to be normal. Especially when you also know more the clutch in combination with such low Mileage.

- Vibrations
I also have annoying vibrations in the car from about the summer. At a speed between 60 and 70, it's like the way everything has small bumps. (As is often the case with traffic lights) However, in this case, the road is completely flat. You gonna drive slowly disappears, you go faster it disappears. Around 40 km per hour you have it.
It seemed to do a certain thing in the clutch to have and not balancing tires. (Something I thought of) it would be resolved to change when replacing the clutch on the left with the right. But so has not helped.

Update 5-11-06:
My car has recently been above for the dealer. This tells me that they can do anything. And it seems to have to do with my driving ?? I seemed namely to turn on early so that the engine would no longer be able to. Economical cruising at a speed of 1500 to 1600 which seems not so much. As if I do, quite a constant speed to keep. At low speeds which would vibrate all (which I incidentally nothing to feel when I'm with 60 in his five cruise at a constant speed) and that would again declare that the clutch popped out. Sja .... nice theory, but my next car will be one against which there can for cruising.
Solution shake would be the engine to drive more revs, so what I need to do well but the last few weeks, but it gives me a great feeling that this should necessarily. The car drives now en less efficient and I wonder whether it will really help.

- beatings
Since I installed the new, wider tires in March, there are suddenly a lot more beatings if you drive on, for example cobbled roads. Sometimes not, and sometimes quite annoying many. Here I've been around, and it turn out to be the handbrake cables you should move. Because the straps are wider, less unevenness capture and move the wheel (and of the suspension) itself so more. At the wheel, the brake cables tight and as the wheel moves, you hear so move the cables. Oddly enough, the one time does exist, then it is not. Depending on the weather, I think.
It was indeed solved by doing silicone and / or fat, so to move the cables easier. If that happened, then it is indeed fixed a while, but whether I want to so many month to the garage to get treatment which cables ??? does not seem right.
Except that beatings car shows remarkably little further beatings if you ride over cobblestone roads. So I like that again okay.

Update 5-11-06:
Like the vibration, the dealer here has also examined and the beatings are currently a lot less. Handbrake cables they have completely taken apart and put back in place. This should help.

- Passenger Door creaks
This I told the little turn of the dealer. Has looked at it and found that the door hanger is not quite right. Perhaps my passengers sometimes hard to open the door? New door hanger assembly will cost about 100 euros including installation, so I leave it as beautiful. It is temporarily solved by smearing grease.

Update 5-11-06:
The last times I got in the car it seemed the same now starts at my own door.

Update 5-11-06:
- New problem: spontaneous motor stalls
And there again the next problem arises. Last week it happened to me 2 times now that the engine stops spontaneously when standing still. This two after a ride of about 30 km. Almost reached the destination we face the traffic. On the brake and clutch. And spontaneous motor thinking if it takes too long 'do it yourself'. And then go very slow start. After trying five or a six off the final again.
Ever once before I had this too. Reported to the dealer and said that it could happen again and so it was normal. Now it happened to me a total of three times (and always when I'm not alone in the car, making it quite embarrassing) I'm not so normal.

Despite these problems the car like it reasonable, but my next car will be German or Japanese. Robust and reliable. Especially if it is true that at the next turn all new brake discs must, at such a low km state. Then took the other problems mentioned ...... the feeling plummeted for this car. The handling is a lot of good when cornering, but there are plenty of other cars with a good grip.
If the maintenance costs for this type of small cars (which I still would have expected had they reasonably cheap) so high, my next car will probably Golf4 VW, Seat Ibiza, Audi A3 or a Honda Civic. (It has become a Golf) Do I have a car that is a little more expensive to purchase and fixed monthly cost, but in terms of maintenance and the like to be slightly cheaper. And more importantly it fun to go out with the car will be much greater.

replacement car, bmw in service

  • 7500 km
  • July 18, 2016 19:17

Here is a brief impression of the replacement car I've driven a few days waiting for the service to my BMW.

A real review you can not call it, considering that I only some 100s km in this car I drove around. But because you do not often see this car back in myreview I thought it was ok some brief impressions of dropping.

From the outside this is immediately recognizable as a mini, although these in a strange way out of the lumps has been washed. It looks very funny in itself.

From inside you see those things back that I know of photos of the new mini. A huge panel with a speedometer around. Nice gimmick. And in the middle the information that can be seen in particular about BMW's. Navigation, radio etc.

Right in front of you a small tachometer, happy with the speed digitally displayed (because the speedometer in the middle is M.i nvrijwel useless) and further information from the onboard computer.

the rest are everywhere switches that are scattered in odd places in the car. You have to get used to, but the most important functions are easily found. The operation of the navigation is much like BMW's iDrive, but the mini-joystick (instead iDrive controller) is so clogged that I serve not have ventured this while driving. Still, I think it's got something. It gives the car character.

I see an option that is so practical that I wonder why that is not built into all cars and that is the sun visor. You have a clear side. And that prevents you should always turn the sun visor on the front as the sun does not come forward.

The seat is fine, but high. Seats are pretty well set.

It is a mini wider and the rear seems adequate space, but it looks like it's no wonder space.

From inside everything seems fine quality. Leather seats and lots of options. The exact version I do not know, but many must have been extra. There were eg parking sensors, a sunroof and a sport button that makes everything feel a bit sharper.

Then driving. The gearbox does not really creamy. I know better, but there is work with. The controls are really super directly kart like I say, and the suspension is very hard. So hard that you feel the blows throughout the car. Your sport mode than everything seems STILL Day to be sharper.

The motor invites racing. Feeling nervous and invites make revolutions. Although the torque is present at about 1500 rpm. When accelerating, you hear a compressor like screeching. I think this is done intentionally because the Cooper S had (has?) A compressor. This adds to the racy feel of the engine. I find myself sitting at 80 km / h still in 4th gear and did not shift up to 6th. Could easily of course but did not feel fine in any way. Also in terms of engine mapping everything feels like to actually.

You can take a turn with a lot of gas and the car will eagerly around the corner. In terms of performance you could nothing short but really I was expecting for the Mini Cooper SD would fit the 170hp version. That would make the car really fast. Maybe something for the SD Works Edition?

Consumption then. This Mini love a sip, but also due to the opdwepende character. 8 l / 100 km I came out.

I think this is more a car for short and medium distance. Long-distance car too nervous. The car has a lot of character and apparently you have to pay dearly for. It seems to me something for people who want a small but still want some more space. Performance is okay, but the SD badge deserves that 170 hp diesel is spooned it.

And maybe that's removable control zWhen Mr. Bean that had something for this car. His driving style I had acquired in that car

All in all, those few kilometers I was funny but I personally would not choose your car.

EXPERIENCES

  • January 29, 2008 00:00

Since a few days I picked up my 335i BMW dealer. Ben immediately drove to Paris to drive him. First impressions are great. The engine wakes up with a great roar where bystanders to worry. The idling is a nice low root out harmoniously merges with higher buzzing sounds. With closed door, the engine is barely audible. Once you go there to drive you immediately feel that there is a tremendous power hidden under the hood. The 335i is fine in a comfortable way by discharging traffic; The motor is totally nervous and machine Irons oppose clean and smooth. Only the tachometer you can see that there are changed of resistance. The BMW coupe steers pleasantly heavy at low speeds.

once you go with your right foot down, the car changes as Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde. Shoot straight away and tachometer sits directly in the red zone. The machine does not switch earlier than 7000+ rpm and gives a thrust blip in turn causing the car each time fired again. After some time you really where neck pain! The sound is typical BMW phenomenal and what begins as a dark growl ends in a metallic screeching. And tunnels it seems like you hear a machine gun. Here you happy!

Consumption is me very far along. The 335i seems to me an F label (really important ...), but after 1000km I drove an average of 10.5 km / l (including playing a little, but many highways 110-130 km / h). So he has called the 600 km on a full tank. If you drive only in the city it is a lot less efficient.

The car is also perfectly finished (as well as or even better than my last Audi). I have let put a number of options, such as HE, iDrive Pro, alu finish, leather, automatic transmission, USB connection, sunscreen, M sport steering wheel with paddles.

The iDrive works fine. In the beginning it was certainly getting used to, but I fully expect (it is actually quite logically put together) after a few days and can operate it without really having to look away from the road. The screen is very wide and can be divided in two parts; so is the left CD / radio information and the right part of the navigation. I have also taken the USB option lets you connect USB sticks and iPods. Through the iDrive you can then scroll through the menu structure of the USB / iPod and all track names + artist names be shown. I have tried both and works fine. USB pen 4Gb now costs only a few bucks.

A nice option is the sun screen. This is electric and can be tipped with a knob up and down. Very practical low sun and bumper stickers (not as often happens when a 335i), because the screen is almost recess leaving people behind you will have to keep their distance.

In general also occurs to me the amount of options you in HE package gets there. Certainly compared to my previous Audi I had Pro Line package. I mention some features that I do in my Audi Pro Line had: dimming mirror, swiveling xenon, automatic light switch with welkoms lights, automatic windshield wiper, a lot of luggage nets, multiple 12-volt sockets, electric seats, illuminated door handles outside. Ok, it is not entirely fair to compare HE with Pro Line; HE also costs more, but you're all right or "essenciele 'options.

Option I is not the Hifi upgrade. I initially thought that the standard Hi-Fi would be good, but so is so bad. My previous standard Audi has a much better Hifi. The sound stay in the BMW, as it were at the height of your waist hang and you certainly do not have the feeling of a concert hall. Too bad.

Ergonomic I do have one criticism: the paddles on the steering wheel. You have to press your thumbs to toggle back and use your fingers to pull you to switch on (same for left and right flipper). It would be nicer and more logical if you could turn back to the left and right upshift. Furthermore, the wiper levers down / turn signal levers too close to the Clippers making this sometimes unintentionally running. The M steering wheel is fine: fine small with thick border with soft perforated leather.

Update 6000km:

He drives still super sharp and wegliggen is truly sublime. Tunnels do with windows open is simply addictive. The machine is superb: in the D drive the 335i wonderfully comfortable and totally hunted. The scale specifically you hardly feel. The S responds engine more alert and daait higher speed (always ready to 'attack'). I meantime a traffic light sprint with M3 (previous model) to "my name may write

Some time ago, I rode in a convertible M3 (again with 343pk previous model) and compared to the 335i I noticed especially the following: While the 335i between 2000-7000 revs stay constant speed, the M3 is lower rPM ietjes less smoothly. But really fired up the engine is in the final 3000 rpm so you just have catapulted just before the red area becomes what is a huge thrill. Truly a feast! The sensation of speed is certainly different between a (bi-) turbocharger and high-revving naturally aspirated engine. However, the BMW 335i has built a wonderful machine that almost always are the fastest in the sprints. And in the intermediate sprints make mincemeat of M3 and little power diesels.

PROBLEMS

  • January 29, 2008 00:00

A few weeks ago I have a non-slip training at Prodrive in Lelystad. During the exercises (with much slippage) I got a message 'puncture'. Heavy shit. Engine, got out and made the car locked. 5 minutes later in the car and the message disappeared. Apparently touched the tire pressure monitoring system as confused and could thus in this way are again reset.

At low revs, I hear a slight rattle in the engine, if the motor has started. According to the dealer, the suspension of the motor and new rubbers are ordered for the suspension. In a few weeks this is remedied. Hope it is.

Update 12000 km:

The problem seems to be solved, there is fitted a new engine mounts and exhaust. The resonance is now hopefully forever lost.

I have meanwhile been on holiday in southern France. The car has kept fine (what else) and made great mileage on winding mountain roads. added new photos

Update 14000 km:

The beating was still come back! Immediately made a follow-up appointment at the dealership. Today at the dealer showed that they had forgotten the appointment schedule! Fortunately there is a mechanic do a test drive to detect the sound again. After the ride he was able to fix the problem right away. There appeared to be a number of conduits / cables resonated against the engine. The sound is indeed gone. CLASS work of BMW mechanic and professional service!

THE RISE
--------------------------------------------
After post had come from the leasing company that the Skoda Octavia soon had to resign my car went back heart beat a bit faster.

Picking out a new workhorse always guarantees a period of counting, weighing, making choices and especially test drive and try.

It's these little things that make life (sounds more dramatic if it is enough, but I think it is an extremely fun time)

--------------------------------------------
THE REQUIREMENTS
--------------------------------------------

The demands from the employer were clear:
-Diesel;
-Green label;
-Wagon;
-Appropriate in the lease budget (my worst enemy @ # $! ^ *& ).

Demands from the other half, there were:
-heated seats;
-Heated front seats;
-Seats with heated seat.

(Obviously, I live with a shivery. Nuon I am still thankful every year ...)

Then the requirements of "dad", in any order:
-Xenon or LED illumination (no halogen);
-Slide / tilt;
-IN chairs where you sit in place of OP;
-Most preferably, 14% aggregation;
-Navigation and blue tooth;
-All the standard amenities of today such as rain sensor, light sensor, cruise control, climate control and parking sensors.
-Alloy wheels, hubcaps which include the Ford Focus ECOnetic really can not.

--------------------------------------------
THE CANDIDATES
--------------------------------------------
-The new Skoda Octavia Combi GreenLine Business Line;
-The Seat Leon Ecomotive ST;
-The new Peugeot 308SW BlueHDi.

--------------------------------------------
THE test drives
--------------------------------------------

SKODA OCTAVIA GREEN LINE BUSINESS LINE
My own was a Skoda Octavia 1.6TDI Elegance Business Line with some loose options (you guessed it ... include heated seats).

During the years I have driven this car (from 14km to 193 230 to be exact) the Skoda has proven itself as a reliable companion that does what is asked of him, but nothing more.

Business is a perfect car, you'll never meet someone kicking the shins to be driving for the Skoda.

On the other hand it was a car that did not care for surprises while driving it. He was there and did his thing, period.

A real 'band', I also never had the Skoda, during the period he was never washed by hand, while his predecessor (Ford Focus Wagon, see other MyReview) weekly with the greatest care was spoiled and my current 308SW has had its first wash by hand.

Also missing the Skoda to MyReview, while I am now eager behind my laptop what to write about 308SW ... Enough said ...

Anyway, driving with his heir, a Skoda Octavia, but now I even did less as Green Line Business Line that black interior with smaller navigation screen as my own Octavia combined with the lack of options on the 14% execution choose did not warm up to me ... This was not clear to him.

SEAT LEON ST ECOMOTIVE
In this car, I looked forward to the test drive but I was very disappointed. The 1.6TDI Ecomotive came in very raw, as if he wanted more but could not. Sure this will include dealing with the requirements to meet the 14% but disappointing, I personally drew up the highway a fine engine, but at lower speeds not my cup of tea.

Also in the seat you are limited in the number of options that you can get on the Ecomotive, no sunroof, adaptive cruise control .. I guess I was trying VAG cq. PON to get me in a more expensive version, unfortunately peanut butter for them.

PEUGEOT 1.6 e-HDi (Hatchback)
At the time of ordering the SW was not available, just like jpg on the Internet ... The test drive so went with a hatchback model with 1.6 e-HDi engine with 115hp and 270Nm (to compare with the BlueHDi with 120hp and 300Nm torque).

Upon boarding all right feeling in a car to get out in 2013, something I had not in the other two from the VAG stable.

The iPad (so called touchscreen indoors) hides 95% of all options and possibilities, a plus for me because I love a clean dashboard, you do so too jaded with the Ford Focus 3 (as successor at the time of my wrecked focus Wagon II facelift) and Opel Astra.

Also sitting in Allure (Premium seats in the brochure) was very nice, all around more than enough support for a pleasant ride to the end of the world.

In selecting the candidates had I have already accepted that I would not slide / tilt more. I miss it every day still, in my Octavia was the roof 95% of the time on the tilt, delicious.

The Peugeot other hand, has a HUGE sunroof available, including the 14% model, a must-have for any dad who want to spoil their kids .. (everything for the kids, jeweettoch).

After riding half hour and each button studied have I felt really "at home" in the Frenchman.

Some disappointment was called Adaptive cruise control, Pack Sécurité.

By default, the keep distance to 2 seconds, for fun in Siberia but unworkable in a suburban or ansich Netherlands. You can do this change for one second but then the distance is too big for a defensive asphalt tiger, especially in the busy west where I live. The adaptive bit you can not turn off so that no normal cruise control remains, no Pack Sécurité me so.

--------------------------------------------
THE ORDER
--------------------------------------------
That was a shock when the dealer showed me the options and features of the Blue-lease and Blue Lease Executive SW models. No Full-LED lights as possible, unlike the hatchback !? OMGWTFBBQ ... Crap!

Even sleep a night .. Would I still will have to move to El Toro in Spain (Seat, ed.) .. After much deliberation, but still make a bid for a Seat Leon Ecomotive ST Style Business with some loose options (you may guess what ...).

Yet was not nice to me and I regretted my luxury problem .. I would my tough requirement of Xenon or Full LED lighting should abandon to ride a 308 and have to put up with candles on the type H7?

The moment of choosing approached ... The leasing company wondered why the car fanatic from the west have had no choice .. Or was it just my fleet manager .. me anything.

Until the moment I was browsing for the umpteenth time Peugeot.nl ..

OMGWTFBBQ !!!! 11 Peugeot 308SW 1.6 BlueHDi Allure in the price lists?

Hmmmm .. 88 grams of CO / 2 emissions represents as much as 20% aggregation .. After 5 seconds all told I was over the threshold, I finally paid for the Skoda even though 20% addition care so much anyway and it would not be submitting to net raise a few bucks a month, I was right about now for my current car:

Peugeot 308SW 1.6 HDi Allure Blue in color Rubi-Rouge with the options:
-sunroof;
-CD Player (true story);
-Massage chairs with .... you can not guess anymore.

After more than three months of waiting, I got the call from the dealer that a car had come which was looking for its owner.

A week later it was time, day Skoda, hello Rubi, Rubi, Rubi, Rubi (Copyright Kaiser Chiefs).

Even before the ink was dry I was already underway with Rubi first destination was 80km away.

After first spamming quick to groepsapp some pictures Rubi began her journey to send back with a happy tiger asphalt.

--------------------------------------------
THE HONEYMOON
--------------------------------------------

Now more than two weeks and 4000km further can I gently white bread balance (tip for the wavering) format.

Marriage is still proved to be a good marriage. As in any marriage, it is not all cake and egg.

(I am writing this review from my own point of view and based on my own experiences. Some items will be labeled by others as 'nagging', so be it.)

Positive:
-engine;
Can be described as: Vivacious, smooth, wide power band and silent. You drive too fast because soon the one hand, the sound is muted fine and the other a real push fails so you should keep gas for feeling even while driving at that time already Vmax + 20km / h ... WOW, what a fine diesel engine , all praise!

-Full LED lighting is really even better than the Xenon lighting on my Octavia and Focus, perfect light image and modern look.

-Panorama, this daddy points scored in the offspring, they love it!

-Appearance, for the first time I get random passers compliments and questions about the car, will be because I am one of the first SW drivers on the road;

-chairs;
A great sit with sufficient support from all sides, all this is very personal.

Negative;
-Ratios 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear;
I always used to have to take a roundabout in his third with through traffic this is the 308 not really a joke.

The speed is in his third too low by the long proportions of the box, you are just at or above idle and despite the greasiness of the perfect engine it is not good to take a roundabout on the way and switch back his second a must view this as mushroomed be mashed I think this is a negative point.

-Rain sensor must be activated every ride;
Call me an asshole but both the focus and the Octavia was the stem of the wiper stuck in position "1" which I always let the rain sensor do its thing. Never had problems with it or have to watch for.

In the 308, the rain sensor must be activated each drive by pushing the stalk down once. Do not know why, always-on system in the other car worked perfectly.

-Audio system;
In one word, drama. The low frequencies are bland hereinafter and in the volume 15 (the maximum score was 30) are also the middle and high frequencies some faded. I asked my agent to make an offer for the EBS amplifier and subwoofer, because I increasingly annoyed and do not want a blemish is in marriage with Rubi.

Not positive or negative but just to piss tasty (and give a more realistic picture):
-Heated allowed on the highest position a bit warmer;
-The massage function is superfluous since it only the lumbar back and lets move again. Was in the option package but I would never ordered separately.
-Peugeot was actually on the Allure 17" Rubis rims must fit. Now I drive around with the 16" Topaze rims, no shame but on the edge, I think. Larger wheels are not permitted employer.

--------------------------------------------
AKA THE TOUCH SCREEN IPAD
--------------------------------------------

Hate it or run with it. Often criticized in the media, the iPad which contains 95% of the options.

Sure has been right when they say that adjusting the temperature takes two steps .. but how often do you do this now? I believe that your climate-control when you need to change it often does not function well. In the 308 it is set to 21.5 degrees, AUTO. Noteworthy here is that you can choose the AUTO mode or the soft, normal or hard to blow, in other words, how much time you want to reach the set temperature CAR.

With media section of the iPad is very logically laid out with neat GUI that certainly fits the year 2014. In most radio stations is neat to be the logo and also happy to stream music from my iPhone is neat too, the album image.

The Bluetooth car kit is a good level, I have as yet heard no complaints from the other side. Looking up contacts which could easily have but fortunately you can use a 'ABCDE' list to facilitate easy reference contact.

Navigation is fast to calculate the route and time of arrival! Also this me not sent the wrong way, but the depicted speeds are sometimes incorrect, but that change in our little country, therefore every week it seems.

--------------------------------------------
RESUME
--------------------------------------------
I am currently very happy with Rubi and do not regret my choice.

The negative points I can live and overshadow the positives absolutely must not. The majority is a matter of adapting to the car and learn to live (which sounds noticing dramatic).

The holiday has come and Rubi Rouge is an excellent color to the detaillen, you get a really nice deep brilliant color back. I think it's also a bit of relaxation and keep the paint (even if it is a lease) like in top condition.

have made will I update my experience for now I just finished writing, when I have some more mileage.

I will also make some beautiful pictures in the holiday.

Are there any questions? set them below!

@Turbo BMW;
What good is a story with no details? He is shorter, that's right. Thanks anyway. The fun with the 308 is certainly there!

@ D.K.DS3;
Photos I updated now. Also the rear of Rubi. That audio upgrade is coming, more on that below.

@ 308 instead of 207cc;
V.w.b. the gear ratios, I find it annoying to have to switch back, which can be different ..

V.w.b. rain sensor, Netherlands rains often unfortunately SAT. That is certainly reflected by PSA on, I do not doubt. But I suppose the gentlemen at VAG and Ford have also been thinking about this.

Here I am, as I said before, never had any problems with it.

AUDIO UPGRADE

Management summary:

The ex-factory audio sucks.

End management summary.

More words I do not want to make dirty. Again, this is personal and will undoubtedly motorists who are satisfied with it .. I did not.

Because it concerns the lease and options are limited. The car must of course be in original condition and to reduce the daily work must not be hindered by the trunk half filled with all sorts of audio stuff .. Remains in the boss's eyes still a tool, and he's right.

In the Peugeot accessory leaflet, the welbesproken audio upgrade EBS. This I leave asap also incorporate me.

With my dealer can make a great deal and not the full € 389, - + € 329, - have to pay for the subwoofer and amplifier. Details? but send a private message.

Once seated EBS subwoofer and amplifier in it I will of course share my experiences here.

KEY PHOBIA
Why PSA .. WHY !?
Should I open my cap with the key in the year 2014?
.

Someone?

.

Sigh ... I thought so ... I have no explanation as well.

I have a reasonable keys, resulting in the need to retain the cap includes keys while running my biggest hobby, refueling.

-The "cut" on the cover is not very solid because it does not come to me ..
-Shaft on the pump itself I do not like ..
-The keys to adjust hands to fill up (for)? Computer says no ...

So hold then, some arm muscle exercises do with it .. Left, right, up and down .. pfff tank not full yet? Takes langggg.

FRENCH ACCOUNTING MATHEMATICAL LOGIC
The consumption of the onboard computer is in my experience is not entirely accurate.

An example:
According to the paper fits 53 liters of liquid gold in my tank and I drive my onboard computer as one 20 ..

The range is 40 kilometers according to the same on-board computer.

How many liters it is coveted, complacent, undisputed, fabulous asphalt tiger lost in the tank Rubi?
.
.
.
Precisely, according to the 45 liter pump calibrated by the NMI.

Bring on the yet to be introduced by Nobel mathematics.

Someone who has an explanation for this? the reserve tank is not counted? Someone with the same experiences?

I'll have a blue ... AdBlue!

French love apparently did not listen to music in the car as the default audio and continues drama .. Luckily the EBS configuration provides that responds to ... more on that below ...

@ces;
Hi !, wonder what it has become. I'm used to the iPad and have a Brodit mount on my dashboard for my iPhone. To this I can scroll much faster in the phonebook and press call. The iPad then immediately takes the call. Via the iPad or send me idd is too cumbersome. The diesel engine remains indeed bullying a winner in this segment, tasty Golf BlueMotion drivers (sorry ... boys with toys ...), because they mostly see the back of the 308.

@JBXS;
You obviously have not read the review ... Shame on you! (Take it CTRL + F and key in 'enemy' in ...)

AUDIO UPGRADE PART 2
---------------------------------------------

Management summary:

The EBS Amplifer & Subwoofer make luisten music in the 308 a very pleasant experience ...

I finally daily OORgasme on the nation's highways.

End management summary.

End of July had come, the installation could begin. According to my dealer about 3 hours work. Fine. Once the appropriate technician had already opened the box with equipment and instruction booklets and it looked as if he could burn water ...

After a sigh, read, read again, call reception workshop I was presented with the following question:

Ruby Or I could leave so they could go to work the next day with his 2and it, much work was ..

-A + cable directly from the battery to the subwoofer in the trunk;
-Trying to get the Amplifier behind the dashboard combined with the CD player (which has never tasted a slice, day € 150, Jumbo Hi!);
-Cabling pulling Radio (Amplifier) to subwoofer;

and that while EBS 90 minutes requires .. Hilarious!

Eventually drove the next day to the dealer in my borrowed 208 (a 1.2VTi ??? Machines, what a truttenschudder .. you were moved by the switching times from front to back .. entertaining during a game 'from front to rear left right 'but while the remaining 99.99% pretty annoying).

Once walked directly to the workshop and after grand total of 16 man-hours they were finally finished the renovation of Ruby. After some tidbits (same level as this review) Ruby and I were on .. hmmm asphalt again this does is disappointing .. the bass ..

A WEEK later I was only satisfied with the sound .. matching subwoofer with all its options were a hell!

Sit, listen, get off, trunk open, floor mat up and adjust. Repeat this procedure 100 times and you have something you like. 'Gain' phase 'Boost' level '... Why not ala Apple, incitement AND IT WORKS !! 1. Anyway .. from that moment I have a super audio system in the car and the volume is never higher than 15, usually 12.

The set is very mature on and the sound of my new hero (Oliver Held-ens) comes into its own in Ruby.

For me the investment more than worth it! The price of the kit is € 329 + € 389 = € 718. I finally paid € 635 in my own dealership, they came themselves with this proposal when I asked if there was what the price ... (You Hollander or not he)

A disadvantage of the EBS set is the presence of an echo on the other hand, during a telephone call.

I suspect this has to do with the fact that the head unit does not know that the output sound still the Amplifier must causing a delay is and the microphone mutes the output sound at the wrong time. This, too, is dissolved during the initial overhaul.

Hopefully (and I do not expect) I will not be fobbed off with the story of a 'product quality' or 'not by Peugeot supported accessory ".. Then the turnips are tender .. (who thinks now like me to Hans Teeuwen? )

---------------------------------------------
ENGINE
---------------------------------------------
I said it before but it is in my opinion worth its own piece:

What is this new 1.6BlueHDi PSA fine motor! Sure, everything is relative and by that creamy 535d (Hello Boss) I can not but what a fun it is to get on the highway to talk to 300Nm.

The familiar 1.6 TDI multi-culti-trio (VW Golf, Skoda Octavia and Seat Leon (ed.)) Are always fun when overtaking opponents or tussenacceleraties, because you win _always_.

Also, I have noticed that sixth gear is no overdrive gear. At 120 km / h there is still a sufficient pit in making downshifts is unnecessary. Unless another multi-culti trio ling 'pops up because you see everywhere! Switching back to 5, and the rest goes without saying .. day VAG.

A disadvantage of not necessarily the motor but the law allows this engine ...

Imagine:
This tiger asphalt drive on the highway .. relaxed .. .. weekend doorstep on time for your appointment, 108km / h on the cruise control on the A2 between pastures near Breukelen .. Music to, SPA bottle to your lips and suddenly:

ALARM, 112, MAYDAY MAYDAY, HOUSTON, etc. etc ..

You scared me to death when an alarm went off which 12h test overshadows the first Monday of the month, Fuck you!

As it turned out, the reservoir for the "fuel additive" became empty and 'start was forbidden in 2400km ... The odometer stood just over 16000km. I bales, because every 18000km extra time to the dealer .. Time is money, _jeweetzelluf_.

On the other hand, 2400km .. come sometime next week I thought. Until I could not see the message at a mileage of 17 thousand nogwat! Beautiful! The self-resolving power of the car gets a 10, all my colleagues but so!

Only 21000km on the report came back, now neatly at the start instead of my afternoon nap on the A2. and because Peugeot requires the reservoir +/- 20000km lasts but now gone to the dealer.

Oil so far: 0.

Until about 3000km dealer for Ruby's first turn .. Maintenance interval.

---------------------------------------------
REGENERATION OF THE PARTICLE FILTER
---------------------------------------------
Vande week I happened when this came out.

-If you give gas there is one second delay in actually accelerating;
-When you accelerate once this intense as during normal operation.
-Not too close to the exhaust gases are very hot, I can tell you.
-There is a smell of burning plastic around the car.

During regeneration, the acceleration in its 2 so much so that the full-LEDs illuminating the sky, so much falls back in. KITT, turbo boost !!! (Unfortunately for 2 seconds)

BlueHDi fellow drivers, ensure once again on.

---------------------------------------------
GENERAL AFFAIRS AND EXPERIENCES
---------------------------------------------
There's a little annoying rattle in the roof above the passenger door which can be heard if I clinkers row or the bass is present at a particular frequency. Is arrested (and resolved) at the first service.

Rest Voorde I am pleased to have Monday model. Ruby creaks happy nowhere else like it, perfect.

I read on the forum diverse experiences about banging the chassis .. flapping feathers .. Slack .. All this is unknown to me * touch wood *, while I still have arranged a full trunk with goods.

The mileage is already passed the 22,000 and consumption over this period is 1 to 18 .. Why are there too many 1.6 TDI on the road, haha!

Until next update!

For the supply and installation of both the EBS EBS Subwoofer Amplifer if I paid € 635 in my supplying dealer.

@SF Butterhof;
The menu itself there are no additional settings are possible, the EBS Amplifier is also connected behind the HU (Head Unit). The EBS Amplifier is thus connected between HU and speakers, with a low-level output to the EBS Subwoofer.

I had in my Skoda (and before Ford ditto system) just no problem in winter HINTS rain sensor!

GENERAL ORDER OF BUSINESS
---------------------------------------------

So, we live now already more half a year! The kilometers are flown by allowing Rubi before her first birthday has passed through the 65000km barrier! Sorry Ms Halsema and your elite club GroenLinks, kiss it? (I do think Femke sneak a Milf !, do not tell huh)

Rubi has its task hitherto actually fulfilled without problems, but there are some issues which need attention from Peugeot an-sich. So I have so far to 2 times had with the turbo-problem ', although I prefer to call it the "SDI problem" to bully my colleague Polo SDI, Gnagna

The vibration near the panoramic roof has solved itself, making the car 99% cracking free, something not disappointing me.

---------------------------------------------
SDI Problem
---------------------------------------------
So, relaxed, chill, ff cup of coffee extract along the A1 at Muiden (Wild Bean Café BP has BY FAR the best coffee the way and no, I have (unfortunately) no shares) .. At Amersfoort for another meeting about details details ZZZZZZZZZ ... Or not?

Slowly but surely roll in off the BP, the rest area with many multi-culti-trio-riders to have lunch. Anyway, " they-see-me-rollin ', they-hatin' " Thinking strum I passed on the way to the lane of the A1.

Hmmm, what's this? Rubi accelerates why so slow? Hmm, ff switch back then but to eliminate turbo lag.

VOLGASSSSS! Hmm .. I drive only 65km / h and the end of the slip road approaching already, Fuck!

Luckily it was a quiet sometime at junction Muiderberg leaving me with 80km / h could complete my invoegactie between the trucks. Because the account that I had to be in Amersfoort was about to put his signature anyway drove and Gooimeer turbo woke up and I was again full power! That was the first time.

Second time was on the A9 at the Tango in Amstelveen EXTREMELY short lane, this time was really irresponsible insert which I had to continue my invoegactie forced on the shoulder with emergency lights. Once the 85km / h, in order to reach inserted directly at Amstelveen again to go low.

Car contact met, restart and again full power.

This was about 55000km. Now with the latest 65000km 10000km on the clock had no more trouble. Witness the forum I am not alone in this phenomenon and should the dealer at the turn 75000km things go read here, though I expect little from here.

---------------------------------------------
Minor irritations part TROIS
---------------------------------------------

FUEL GAUGE
In 700km Rubi starts to whining to moisture. I rarely get more than 42 liters in the tank so I'm fiddling unnecessarily often at the pump with my keys (see previous update).

Continue is also annoying because of the many messages in the on-board computer.

MISSING SENSOR WASHER RESERVOIR
And so you'll ALWAYS too late that the reservoir is empty so you rejoice with an screeching pump .. and dirty windows because the wipers smear itself all the tasty gunk on the windshield. _zucht_

Creaking CENTER CONSOLE
Since a short time cracking the center console when I lean against to my knee. Very annoying. A solution I already found the volume increasing to 15/30 scolding leaving begin to vibrate multiple items, haha!

I'm glad my laptop now has no hard drive but more a SSD, saves a lot of bad-sectors with the presence of the EBS Subwoofer

For now I'm back here typed. Until next update!

THE ASPHALT TIGER IS NO LONGER
After change of employer mileage drastically decreased! The past two months only driven 3500km, including the 308 private kilometers ... do not know what hit her, poor Rubi.

HOLIDAY PROCEDURES
Coming holidays and you still notice that the Skoda Octavia is bigger. In the 308 I should even use the back space between the two kinderzetjes will fit. (And when we went a few days away, now a week).

You do not know what you should take with two small kids ... Fortunately, we are not here at the Viva or Dragonfly website so nice interesting further.

The 'SDI problem "I had no more trouble after the last time. I tank anywhere regular diesel of BP, there is nothing to change .. I'm going to still mention at the next service.
